Anraya Palmer

Anraya was born and raised in Georgia. She went to UGA and is a huge football fan – GO DAWGS!

Outside of ultimate, Anraya likes to spend time with her family and friends. She got married recently! She and Erik met at school, so UGA/Athens has very special memories for her. When she’s not playing ultimate, Anraya is an elementary school teacher. This year, she will be teaching three-year olds! She has also been coaching ultimate for going on five years now.

Growing up, Anraya played basketball and soccer. By her senior year of high school, she was feeling burnt out and didn’t want to play soccer in the spring. A friend had been asking her to come out and try ultimate for awhile. Finally, she gave in, and the rest is history.

To Live Ultimate is how you carry yourself on and off the field. Preserving SOTG on the field. Building up teammates and opponents rather than tearing them down. Playing hard every time you step on the field, whether you’re up or down. Then off the field, being active in your community to ensure: one, that kids are introduced to ultimate, and two, that the next generation of players continue to uphold SOTG.
