Manuela Cárdenas

Manuela started playing ultimate in 2010 in Medellín, Colombia at age 9. She played at her first World Championships when she was 13 and felt incredibly privileged to have that opportunity. She has played with Revolution Ultimate Club in the club division and the Premier Ultimate League, Denver Molly Brown and Colombia’s National Team.

In 2016, Manuela started to study at Eafit University, one of the best university’s in Colombia, thanks to a scholarship for the sport.

In addition to playing ultimate, she loves being a coach and giving back a little that the ultimate community has given her.

Outside of ultimate, she loves to watch soccer – she’s a big fan of Lionel Messi – and enjoying a lot of things in life she never thought she’d have the opportunity to experience.

To me, living ultimate is being around of an amazing community and enjoying our sport (life). It is a place where you are included and a place where you see everyone trying to give their best, to help the another one.
